Hilarious Diablo 4 Image Shows Players Forming Huge Soup Line

Articles Games Gaming Gaming News

ADiablo 4 player recently shared a hilarious image of a group of players coming together to form a line. The wholesome interaction between strangers on the internet shows one of the best parts about a live service game like Diablo 4.

The launch of Diablo 4 has largely been a success. While some Diablo 4 players have encountered glitches, hiccups, and login queues, most players have had a relatively seamless experience with the new action RPG.

However, one group of Diablo 4 players found themselves in a rather different queue than one might expect. Doislan shared an image on Reddit of some recent hijinks they got into in Gea Kul, the largest hub in the Dry Steppes region of Diablo 4. They decided to get in line behind a group of NPCs crowded around a soup kitchen on the street, waiting to receive a bowl. Others soon joined them, making a comedic scene of nearly a dozen players patiently waiting to get some soup of their own.

Like many multiplayer games, unspoken interactions can create some of the most fun and memorable moments for many players. From crouching repeatedly in Overwatch to jumping up and down in World of Warcraft, fans have developed a wordless language that spans live service games. Though Diablo 4 has plenty of emotes and a chat system, many players still resort to such comedic forms of communication, such as rapidly spinning in place or spamming abilities next to each other.

Some players joked that Doislan and the others must have been waiting in line because there was nothing better to do in Diablo 4. A fair number of gamers have completed the Diablo 4 campaign and are grinding Nightmare dungeons for gear and XP, but some are succumbing to the tedium of the ARPG endgame loop. Luckily, Diablo 4 will be starting Season 1 in early-to-mid July, which promises to mix things up a bit. That said, Diablo 4 fans will have to make new characters to earn rewards from the Battle Pass, so there will be no time to wait in line for soup once the new season arrives.

Diablo 4 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
