Epic Games Store Free Game for July 13 Revealed

The Epic Games Store gives away yet another free game while confirming the freebie coming to users on July 13.
The Epic Games Store free game for July 13 is Train Valley 2. The Epic Games Store ensures that users keep coming back by regularly offering new free games on a set day and time. Every Thursday at 10am CT, Epic Games Store users can hop back on the launcher to claim the current free game as well as get a glimpse at the free game that’s on deck for the following week.
Right now, the Epic Games Store free game is GRIME. GRIME is a critically-acclaimed action game that blends elements of Metroidvania games and Soulslikes. First released in 2021, GRIME stands as one of the higher-rated free games that the Epic Games Store has given away this year so far. Anyone that considers themselves a fan of its genres will want to check it out, and they have until July 13 at 10am CT to do so.
Come July 13 at 10am CT, GRIME will be replaced by Train Valley 2. Unfortunately, Train Valley 2 doesn’t have much in the way of professional reviews, but it has a decent rating on the Epic Games Store launcher itself, with users giving it a 4.1 overall rating. Described as a “train tycoon puzzle game,” Train Valley 2 comes complete with achievements and DLC add-ons for those that really enjoy it and want to prolong their time with the game.
Epic Games Store Free Games July 2023
- GRIME (July 6 – July 13)
- Train Valley 2 (July 13 – July 20)
GRIME and Train Valley 2 are both solid games for the Epic Games Store free games lineup. Both games are admittedly on the more obscure and niche side of things, but they both have been well-received. Epic Games Store users should definitely grab both of them for their digital libraries. After all, Epic Games Store free games don’t require any kind of subscription or other fees, so there is really no downside to claiming every free game that’s available.
Even if one misses out on claiming GRIME and Train Valley 2, there’s always a chance the games will be rotated back in and offered as Epic Games Store freebies sometime down the road. While it’s rare, the Epic Games Store has repeated free games in the past. That being said, it would be better to stay on the safe side and just claim the free games when they’re made available each week.
