An actor potentially leaks details about Call of Duty 2024 and how far along in development the Activision FPS could be so far.
Actor Luke Stafford leaks some potential details about the Call of Duty game coming in 2024 as he has claimed to play a role in the unannounced Activision FPS. Call of Duty is a franchise that has seen annual releases since it blew up in popularity, and that will be no different with the next which has been teased by Stafford in a social media update.
Because Call of Duty has seen such success over the years, Activision has been able to hire popular actors for their likeness through motion capture. Actors like Barry Sloane, Alain Mesa, Neil Ellice, and Rya Kihlstedt have done work in the latest installment in the franchise, Modern Warfare 2, while voice actors often provide the vocal range for the subsequent character models. Though they have been taken down due to potential legal troubles, Luke Stafford has given a potential look behind the scenes of Call of Duty 2024.
Flagging his account from Hollywood, California, Luke Stafford recently shared a Facebook with images and clips from what may be a Call of Duty 2024 studio. According to Stafford, his likeness is being used for the main character of Call of Duty 2024 who’s named Ratcliffe. Similar to some Call of Duty characters in the past, Ratcliffe may be based loosely around a British army soldier from real-world history with the same surname to provide an element of realism to the FPS.

Beyond the status update, Luke Stafford’s notable images highlighted the small green dots reflecting the motion capture process on his face. Another glimpse into what may be Call of Duty 2024 development, Stafford, who wore a hairnet for this scene, shared an image of himself surrounded by lights and cameras being used to create a proper 3D model. The videos that Stafford took of his experiences with Call of Duty 2024 so far also show different people that may be developers, with one seen giving the peace sign wearing a Modern Warfare 2 shirt. Because the post has been taken off his Facebook page, Luke Stafford may have gotten in trouble for sharing the Call of Duty 2024 behind-the-scenes details.
While Luke Stafford has been in movies like East of Middle West, Road Trip Hostage, and Secret Society of Lies, Call of Duty 2024 could be his biggest project if he is indeed the main character. Time will tell if this ends up being the case.
