Seekers of the Storm will take you on a journey to face a new and powerful enemy: The False Son. This is a soulless being created by the Lemurians in the image of Providence, the final boss of the first game. But something went wrong, and The False Son was corrupted by Mithrix’s Beads of Fealty, turning him into a ruthless tyrant who seeks to destroy everything in his path.
To stop him, you’ll need to explore four new environments, each with their own challenges and secrets. You’ll encounter ancient Lemurian temples, lush green canopies, dark castles, and even a huge plant that changes from day to night. You’ll also find new items, enemies, and survivors to spice up your gameplay.
But the ultimate challenge awaits you at the end of the Path of the Colossus, where you’ll have to face The False Son in a climactic showdown. Can you defeat him and unlock his true power? Or will you fall victim to his wrath?
Seekers of the Storm is coming soon to Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. You’ll need the base game Risk of Rain 2 to play it, but only one player in a multiplayer lobby will need to own the expansion for everyone to access its content (except for survivors and unlocks).
