Top up your Switch library with these deals on Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and more.

If you’ve missed out on some of the excellent–and exclusive–games on the Nintendo Switch, you can plug the holes in your library with the new Switch game deals at Walmart, Amazon, and more major retailers. The promotion includes deals on the rarely discounted titles such as Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX for $39, cozy island getaway simulator Animal Crossing: New Horizons for $41, and the delightfully charming Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker for $27.
Nintendo Switch digital game sale
It’s worth pointing out that all of these deals are for digital versions of the game, not physical carts. The plus side to this is that you won’t have to wait long to add them to your library, as you’ll receive a game code once your payment has been processed. The sales at major retailers are running concurrently with the eShop’s Jump-start January Sale, but it’s worth noting Walmart has slightly better prices for a bunch of titles.
Another added benefit of buying digital games from retailers like Walmart or Amazon instead of the Switch eShop is that Nintendo Gold Points are calculated based on list price–so you’ll get more Gold Points at Walmart, Amazon, Best Buy, etc.
One of the best deals is on Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection, which released last year for Switch and PC. The collection comes with remastered versions of the first three games in the dungeon crawler series. Normally $80, Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection is on sale for only $39 (over 50% off).
You can dive into the energetic multiplayer fun of Splatoon 3 for only $41, or if you feel like getting a more comprehensive package, the game and its expansion pass are available in a $65 bundle.
