This coming Tuesday, February 20 is set to be a huge day for subscribers to the Premium tier of the PlayStation Plus service.

Tuesday, February 20 is the day that new games are added to the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus, meaning those who are signed up for Premium have a lot to be excited about. Premium is the most expensive tier of PlayStation Plus available, but it gives subscribers significant bang for their buck.
If one is signed up for PS Plus Premium, they can enjoy all the benefits associated with PS Plus Essential and PS Plus Extra on top of exclusive Premium-only perks. This means PS Plus Premium gives subscribers access to the monthly free PS Plus games, the new games added to the PS Plus Extra rotations, special PlayStation Store discounts, and the classic games that define the Premium lineup.
Anyone signed up for PS Plus Premium will want to circle Tuesday, February 20 on their calendars, as that’s the day that they will have 13 new games to play (assuming they’ve upgraded to PS5, anyway). Come February 20, nine new games will be added to the PS Plus Extra lineup, while the PS Plus Premium-specific library is getting four classic titles, including a classic PSP game as well as a title that was originally released for the PlayStation 1 back in 1997.

The majority of those games are playable on both PS4 and PS5 thanks to PS5’s backward compatibility, though Need for Speed Unbound and The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition only have native PS5 releases.
As far as the PS Plus Premium additions for February 2024 go, subscribers can look forward to Jet Moto 2, Resistance: Retribution, Tales of Symphonia Remastered, and Tales of Vesperia. Fans of the Tales series clearly have a lot to look forward to if they’re signed up for PS Plus Premium, as they will have access to four of the franchise’s games when February 20 rolls around. And those nostalgic for the glory days of the PSP will no doubt be excited to revisit Resistance: Retribution, which has long been considered one of the handheld’s better games.
Clearly, there’s a lot for PS Plus Premium subscribers to look forward to on February 20, and all of this is on top of the free PS Plus games that were added earlier in the month. PS Plus Premium subscribers that have yet to claim the free PS Plus games for February 2024 should be sure to grab day one game Foamstars, Rollerdrome, and Steelrising while they still can.
