A NEW CHAPTER IN THE ENDER SERIES SET FOR 2024 RELEASE
Binary Haze Interactive, along with developers Adglobe and Live Wire, have announced ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist, the next installment in the ENDER series, which is scheduled for release on the Nintendo Switch in 2024. This follows the success of ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights, a title that has surpassed 1.4 million copies sold. The reveal came as part of today’s Nintendo Direct presentation.
STORYLINE AND SETTING
Set decades after the cataclysmic Rain of Death, ENDER MAGNOLIA ushers players into the Land of Fumes, a realm filled with ancient mystical powers and a dark history. The narrative centers around the kingdom’s creation of Homunculi, artificial beings designed for conquest, which now face a crisis as toxic vapors turn them and humans alike into feral beings. Players will step into the shoes of Lilac, an Attuner capable of purifying those affected by these toxic fumes, on a mission to save the kingdom from destruction.
GAMEPLAY AND FEATURES
ENDER MAGNOLIA introduces players to a world where they can turn enemies into allies by cleansing corruption, thereby harnessing their powers to enhance Lilac’s abilities. With a combat system that allows for the equipping of up to four special abilities simultaneously, the game offers a rich arsenal for players to explore. As Lilac ventures through the kingdom, she will collect lore-rich relics, trade gold for upgrades, and piece together the story from remnants left by the kingdom’s inhabitants.
VISUALS AND SOUNDTRACK
The game promises an atmospheric experience with hand-drawn settings and an original soundtrack composed by Mili, known for their work on “Ghost in the Shell” and “Goblin Slayer.” This soundtrack aims to complement the game’s dark fantasy aesthetic and will be available for purchase at launch.
LANGUAGE SUPPORT
Accommodating a global audience, ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in The Mist will feature extensive language support, including Japanese, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), and Korean.
