This is not the first time that Epic Games has partnered with Nike to bring themed cosmetics to Fortnite, with its previous partnership taking place back in 2023.

A pamphlet inside the Air Max Dn package gives a detailed overview of what fans can expect from the collaboration. It states that the Airphoria event will be adding multiple game modes, outfits, emotes, and cosmetics to Fortnite. The event, which is focused on the launch of the next generation of Nike’s Air technology, will be kicking off in the game on March 26, 2024. Fortnite’s v29.10 Update is slated to be released on the same day itself, so it is quite likely that the event will be added as part of the patch.
Fans are already excited about the collaboration, considering that the previously released skins were a big hit within the game. Not only that, but the Creative map that was added as part of the update was equally enjoyed by many in the community. Players got a free Air Max 1 ’86 Back Bling for taking part in the original event, so it is very possible that Nike and Fortnite will hand out some more cosmetics this time around.
