Bethesda Softworks is a renowned video game publisher and developer known for creating popular franchises such as The Elder ScrollsFallout, and Doom. It is part of the larger Bethesda Game Studios family under ZeniMax Media, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2021. Every year ZeniMax Media hosts a gaming convention called QuakeCon that celebrates the iconic franchises of id Software and other ZeniMax-owned studios. This event, known for its large LAN parties, competitive tournaments, and industry updates, brings gamers together from all over to connect with similar-minded people.

Bethesda recently announced that QuakeCon will be returning from August 8 to 11 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. This marks a significant moment for fans of Bethesda’s games, as the convention promises a plethora of exciting activities, including a massive Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) gathering, around-the-clock gaming sessions, tournaments, tabletop events, meetups, and exciting giveaways throughout the event.

What Are QuakeCon’s Ticket Package Offerings?

For those eager to participate, registration for QuakeCon opens on May 21 at 4:00 PM ET. Attendees can choose from four different packages, starting from $15 for basic access to the event, including participation in tabletop rooms, BYOC tours, tournament sign-ups, and daily event access from 8:00 AM to 1:00 AM across all four days. There are also the standard and premium packages at $75 and $200. Finally, the Elite package, priced at $400, offers a premium experience with additional perks such as exclusive table space, pre-scheduled equipment check-in, gaming chair options, complimentary refreshments, and a QuakeCon fan ticket for a plus one. QuakeCon holds a special place for many Bethesda fans, offering an interesting opportunity to meet fellow enthusiasts, and participate in thrilling gaming competitions. QuakeCon transitioned to online formats due to the COVID-19 pandemic in recent years but returned to its live format in 2023, reinvigorating the vibrant and communal atmosphere that fans have long cherished.

In previous years, Bethesda has offered significant discounts on many games for QuakeCon; however, there has been no announcement regarding this for the 2024 event yet. As QuakeCon gears up for another exciting edition, Bethesda fans have every reason to keep an eye on August 8 and prepare for this upcoming gaming event.
