Fortnite Dataminers Confirm Leaked Pirates Of The Caribbean Collab

Games Gaming News

Fortnite’s latest update has added a bunch of data for a Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration.

Fortnite dataminers have confirmed that a Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration is coming to the game soon, just like the leaked 2024 roadmap claimed a few months ago.

Although this season of Fortnite has had its fair share of surprises (such as the Fallout content that came out of nowhere at the start of Chapter 5, Season 3), a lot of the mystique was ruined towards the start of the year thanks to a leaked roadmap. Back in April, a blurry image showed a ton of planned content for Fortnite’s many modes, including several collaborations for Battle Royale.

With every month that’s passed since that roadmap was leaked, it’s been proven true several times over, from Billie Eilish joining Fortnite Festival to Metallica playing a key role in the Wrecked season. Well, to nobody’s surprise, that roadmap has once again been proven to be real thanks to a new collab that has been datamined – Pirates of the Caribbean.

Pirates Of The Caribbean Is Coming To Fortnite Soon

Over on Twitter, reliable Fortnite insider HYPEX shared everything that has been datamined from the latest Fortnite update, including a new Weapon X skin for Wolverine and information about today’s Reload mode. Alongside that, HYPEX also shared a first look at everything that’s coming as part of the Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration.

The crossover will add Jack Sparrow (complete with a skeleton look), Elizabeth Swann, Davy Jones, and Hector Barbossa, each with their own unique pickaxes and emotes. Interestingly, it seems that Jack Sparrow is going to include as part of a mini battle pass, similar to what we had for Chewbacca during the latest Star Wars event.

Although HYPEX was able to show off pretty much everything in the Pirates of the Caribbean collab, it seems that it’s not actually going to be released until the middle of July and has just been put in the game a bit early for dataminers to uncover.

Of course, one of the most interesting things to take away from this collab is that it once again proves the 2024 roadmap to be accurate, which means we can now confidently say what the rest of 2024 will look like for Fortnite. There will still be surprises, of course, but it seems the rumors of another Marvel season are going to be proven true.
