Updated July 12, 2024: Another week has come for Destiny 2, which means missions, challenges, and rewards have been reset. The wait continues on for the next part of Destiny 2’s Episode Echoes after it moved into a 3-week dormant period. To fill the space within that time, many have taken the opportunity to catch up on the numerous activities and quests which may have been put on the backburner. In addition, Iron Banner has also arrived and is here for 2 weeks instead of the typical one, giving players a longer opportunity to hunt down the best rolls for Crimil’s Dagger and Claws of the Wolf.
Unfortunately, not everything is going according to plan, as Bungie confirmed a frustrating Destiny 2 XP bug that is making the gain rate slower than it should be. While Bungie continues to investigate and hopefully come up with a solution, the studio has added a temporary buff to the Weekly Rest XP bonus, increasing the value from 250 to 400. Bungie is hoping that the bonus XP increase will ultimately offset the losses until a permanent fix can be applied.

For now, the Destiny 2 weekly reset is back again, bringing refreshed content, activities, and rewards for players to chase over the next week. For a complete look at all the new content available for the week of July 9, including Nightfalls, Crucible modes, and challenges, here is everything players need to know.
