Fallout Classic Collection is free on Epic Games Store from August 29 to September 5, including Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics.

The Epic Games Store is giving away four free games on August 29, with three of those titles a part of the Fallout Classic Collection. Earlier this year, the Epic Games Store promised users that they would get the classic Fallout games for free. However, for reasons unknown, those Fallout games were removed from the free games’ lineup.
When the Fallout games were removed from the Epic Games Store free games lineup, it was clarified that they would still be free, just later than expected. Epic Games Store users have been waiting patiently to learn exactly when they would be able to snag the classic Fallout titles for free, and now they know exactly when they will be able to add them to their digital libraries.
Fallout Classic Collection will be free on the Epic Games Store from August 29 to September 5, giving users the chance to claim Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics completely free of charge. The classic Fallout games are considered some of the best and most influential PC games ever made, and so anyone that has yet to try them should be sure to get them while they’re free on the Epic Games Store. Fallout Classic Collection will be joined by the sports game Wild Card Football, which will also be free from August 29 to September 5. Wild Card Football earned mixed reviews at the time of its release, but it doesn’t hurt to claim it while it’s free.

From now until August 29, Epic Games Store users can claim Gigantic: Rampage Edition as well as the sci-fi survival-horror game The Callisto Protocol. The Callisto Protocol earned mixed reviews at the time of its release, but there are those who consider it underrated. Epic Games Store users can come their own conclusions by claiming it for free and giving it a try for themselves.
With Callisto Protocol this week and Fallout Classic Collection next week, the Epic Games Store is ending its August 2024 offerings with a bang. It will be interesting to see what all it has in store for users in September, and if next month’s free games can match up to all the EGS freebies given away in August.
