After some speculation, it’s been confirmed that Patch 7 for Baldur’s Gate 3 adds unique evil endings for every origin character.

Patch 7 for Baldur’s Gate 3 is finally here – for PC players, at least. However, even as us lot on console have to wait until October to play the new patch, videos of the new content are being shared online, giving us a look at the long-awaited evil ending cinematics.
Now, we know that the patch adds several evil endings to choose from, going a lot further than many of us expected. In fact, every origin character now has their own unique evil options, on top of four other new endings that are shared amongst everyone, letting them use their newfound powers in a way specific to their backstory.
Note:
The origin characters in Baldur’s Gate 3 are Shadowheart, Wyll, Lae’zel, Gale, Karlach, Astarion, and The Dark Urge.
The unique endings are available to anyone who plays the game as an origin character and then chooses to become the Absolute. If they do this, your character now has the entire Mind Flayer army at their beck and call and can use the power of the Absolute to reshape the world in their image.
All Of The New Baldur’s Gate 3 Endings For Every Origin Companion
Unsurprisingly, the unique endings are incredibly cathartic for each character. For example, Wyll becomes the new ruler of Baldur’s Gate, forcing his father to bow to him. Karlach, on the other hand, calls upon devils to attack the city – and tears out her own heart as she watches them slaughter everyone. Astarion’s ending also sees him take over the city, albeit with an army of vampire spawn instead.
Not even the gods are safe in these new endings. Gale, in perhaps the most dramatic way to get over your ex ever, brainwashes Baldur’s Gate into tearing down a statue of Mystra, turning his back on his goddess for good. Similarly, Shadowheart turns on Shar and Selune’s followers, instructing her minions to kill them all and form a new religion in her image. Then, we have Lae’zel, who flies off on a dragon to kill her own god, Queen Vlaakith.
And of course, how could we forget about The Dark Urge? A redeemed Durge gets to claim the Absolute in their own name. But if you gave into Bhaal, you only live to serve him, so instead, you set about slaughtering everyone in the world.
All of these endings are live in the game now if you’re on PC. There’s no set release date for Patch 7 on console, only that it will be with us in October.
