Past is Prologue event in Destiny 2 offers powerful rewards, adept weapons, and artifice armor.

The latest in-game event for Destiny 2 aims to give players plenty of major rewards for playing the game, including exotics, adept weapons, artifice armor, and plenty more. With Episode Revenant approaching its end, Bungie still has a few surprises left for Destiny 2 players, offering powerful rewards for those who complete a few quests.
It’s no secret that Destiny 2 has been going through some difficult times recently, as Episode Revenant has experienced numerous bugs impacting both seasonal content as well as gameplay. Destiny 2 players discovered major bugs, including one that was actively preventing certain perks from dropping on Vesper’s Host weapons. As player counts continue to drop, Bungie is bringing back a special in-game event, offering some powerful rewards for those willing to engage with it.
In the latest weekly blog post, Bungie revealed the Past is Prologue event, kicking off on January 21 following the in-game reset and lasting for 2 weeks only. Similar to Destiny 2‘s Riven’s Wishes event during Season of the Wish. This time around, players will be visiting Drifter to pick up new quests that reward Bento Tokens. Collecting this currency, players can exchange them for some powerful rewards with Eris Morn, though players should note that only 8 can be earned, so not all rewards can be obtained.

Similar to Riven’s Wishes, players will have a variety of rewards they can earn for trading in Bento Tokens. All rewards cost 1 token, and with only 8 available during the event, players will need to spend them wisely. Players who turn in 5 Bento Tokens during the event will also get access to Destiny‘s rare Chatterwhite Shader.

Destiny 2 mementos are rare shaders that can be applied to crafted weapons, giving them a unique look, title, and tracker. These are typically aligned with limited-time events, making them fairly rare, so for those who missed any, this event gives players a chance to acquire more.
