Five new 6v6 multiplayer maps are coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 in Season 2.

As Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is right around the corner, developer Treyarch has unveiled five new maps that’ll be added to the game’s multiplayer suite. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was released in October 2024 to positive reviews, as its campaign, multiplayer content, and round-based Zombies all garnered high praise. Season 1 was also a hit, as it added seven new weapons and an impressive six new multiplayer maps.
The Call of Duty team has already confirmed several key components players can expect in Black Ops 6‘s second season. Season 2 will add the next chapter of Zombies in a new map named The Tomb, which continues Black Ops 6‘s zany Zombies narrative where Citadelle des Morts left off. Furthermore, Call of Duty recently released an image that seemingly confirmed two of the season’s new weapons in the FN FAL assault rifle and the PPSH-41 SMG, the latter of which is a classic weapon that was popular in early Call of Duty Zombies entries.
Now, Call of Duty has released a short 90-second trailer highlighting some of the five new 6v6 multiplayer maps Black Ops 6 players can expect for Season 2. The trailer takes players on an action-fueled ride through Bounty, Dealership, and Lifeline, which will all go live when Season 2 begins. The video’s description also mentions two other maps in Bullet and Grind, which will be held for Black Ops 6‘s mid-season Reloaded update.

As its name implies, Season 2’s Dealership map will have players do battle in and around a car dealership filled with sports cars, while Bounty looks like it takes place on the top floors of a city skyscraper. Fans of 2012’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 may appreciate Lifeline, which, judging by the trailer, seems like a smaller rendition of Hijacked, one of the most beloved Black Ops maps ever. As for the two mid-season maps, Bullet and Grind, neither of them were featured in the trailer, though Grind is most likely a remake of the classic Black Ops 2 skate park map of the same name. In the lead-up to Black Ops 6‘s release, it was rumored that Treyarch was planning on adding some classic Black Ops 2 maps, and it seems said rumors are turning out to be true.
Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to begin on January 28. With a total of five 6v6 maps being added into the rotation, multiplayer fans will surely have enough to keep them busy throughout Season 2. Black Ops 6 players should keep an eye on Call of Duty‘s social media for any more exciting details about the imminent second season.
