Four Wolverine skins from the upcoming Insomniac game have leaked.

After the incredible success of Marvel’s Spider-Man and its Miles Morales spin-off, Insomniac announced a new Wolverine game in 2021. We haven’t seen anything of it since that initial CG trailer, but the studio was victim to a historical hack in 2023 that revealed key story and gameplay details, from Jean Grey to real-time damage and regeneration.
More discoveries only continue to be made in 2025 as fans dig through the files further, and only two days ago, u/Illustrious-Sign3015 shared screenshots of four Wolverine costumes, giving us our best look at the skins yet.
Note:
Other ‘costumes’ have leaked, like “logan_tanktop” and “logan_business_suit”, but it’s unclear if these are skins or just civvies like Peter Parker wears.
There’s a striking black and yellow costume, a more textured yellow and blue version, his original brown-ochre suit — complete with underpants — and a modernised version of it that swaps the briefs for a utility belt. Earlier leaks also revealed plans for an X-Force costume, an Astonishing X-Men suit, and possibly even a Days of Future Past getup.
The Model Is Probably A Placeholder
One commenter noted that the model looks an awful lot like Hugh Jackman, while others begrudge how “soft and flabby his triceps are”, and that his “arms have such little definition”. But this is likely just a placeholder. We know from the first CG trailer that Insomniac’s Logan will be as gruff as his comic counterpart, with hairy and buff arms. This was backed up by leaked concept art, which shows him with bushy facial hair.
Given that Marvel’s Wolverine still doesn’t have a concrete release date, or even a release window, and the fact that this leaked build is over a year old now, it’s safe to say that this isn’t what Logan will look like. So, it’s worth factoring that in before penning an angry tweet that this unfinished build of Wolverine looks bad (we saw enough of that with the GTA 6 leaks).
The costumes could also change before release, as again, this is an early and outdated build. But it does at least give us a good indication of what Insomniac’s Wolverine will look like in his costume, rather than the plaid jacket we’ve seen him in so far.
