Angela, Odin’s long-lost daughter and Thor’s sister, might be added to Marvel Rivals as a playable character in the future.

Leaked audio hints that Angela, Odin’s long-lost daughter and Thor’s sister, could be coming to Marvel Rivals. NetEase has promised to add at least two new playable characters to Marvel Rivals every season, with the latest being The Thing and the Human Torch of Fantastic Four fame. The legendary vampire hunter Blade has also been teased in a recent Marvel Rivals trailer, though there is no word on when fans can expect to play him.
The Marvel Universe is massive, and there have been many leaks and rumors about future Marvel Rivals playable characters. Fans have been asking for the likes of Deadpool and Ghost Rider in polls, and recent leaks have implied that Marvel Rivals’ second season will be centered around the villainous Hellfire Club. As such, popular X-Men characters like Emma Frost, Professor Xavier, and Colossus have been hinted to be future Marvel Rivals characters.
Yet another Marvel Rivals rumor claims that Angela could be making her way to Marvel Rivals to deliver divine justice to her opponents. Twitter user X0XLEAK recently shared some datamined Marvel Rivals audio clips referencing Angela. In these clips, Loki talks about Odin having yet another rebellious child and refers to Angela by name, Doctor Strange says that “avenging angels always fall in the end,” and Rocket Raccoon references her shared past with the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Marvel Rivals Leak Teases Angela, the Lost Daughter of Odin
While casual comic fans might not know her, Angela has a rich history that stretches beyond the confines of Marvel Comics. Created by legendary comic author Neil Gaiman and artist Todd McFarlane, Angela was originally introduced in Image’s Spawn comics before Gaiman won the sole rights to the character and later sold them to Marvel. She would then be properly integrated into the Marvel Universe in the 2013 Age of Ultron storyline as Thor’s long-lost sister, even joining the Guardians of the Galaxy for a time.
Angela has since been featured in games like Marvel Snap and Marvel: Avengers Alliance, and was even alluded to by Spawn during his guest appearance in Mortal Kombat 11 despite no longer being a part of his universe. Given that Thor and Loki are already playable in Marvel Rivals, adding Angela would make sense, even if her inclusion hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. Her powers are naturally very similar to those of her siblings, meaning that if she is indeed coming to Marvel Rivals, she could be a Vanguard or Duelist with superhuman speed and strength.
