Marvel Rivals has revealed punk-themed costumes for Magik and Hulk.

Marvel Rivals has revealed punk-themed costumes for both Magik and Hulk. NetEase Games recently released its major mid-season update for Marvel Rivals, which added Human Torch and The Thing to the hero shooter’s roster. Since both of them received skins when they made their debut, it seems other heroes are primed to get some attention.

Both Magik and Hulk are melee-focused characters, though they function very differently. As one of Marvel Rivals‘ Vanguards, Hulk leads the charge into battle with the goal of protecting his teammates from harm. In order to do this, he has a robust health pool and the ability to place a bubble shield on himself and nearby allies. Meanwhile, Magik is a Duelist who utilizes portals to maneuver in and out of fights, dealing tremendous amounts of damage with her blade before making her escape.

In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games announced new punk-themed skins for Hulk and Magik in Marvel Rivals. Magik’s Punkchild costume has long white hair with bangs that cover her eyes and pigtails that run down her back. She’s wearing dark purple and silver armor with a matching short skirt. She’s also sporting thick black boots with spikes and fishnet leggings that go up to her knees. Her sword has a cyberpunk aesthetic with a bright purple core and light blue edge. While Magik does have a transformation, it’s not shown in the promotional image.

Likewise, the advertised image for Hulk’s Punk Rage skin in Marvel Rivals only shows off his Bruce Banner form. The scientist is sporting a very unusual look, starting with his neon green mohawk and punctuated by the spiked black cuffs on his wrists. Bruce can be seen wearing a black vest with four vials on the front with a radioactive appearance. Meanwhile, he’s also wearing brown pants splattered with paint, multiple spiked belts, and a buckle in the form of an H.

Players looking to get their hands on the new skins won’t have to wait long, as NetEase Games has announced that they will be released in the shop on February 27 at 6 PM PST. According to leakers, the Punkchild skin will cost 2,200 Units and the Punk Rage skin will cost 1,600 Units. There doesn’t appear to be any bundle combining the two costumes at this time. Since these are rumors, it’s possible they could change when the cosmetics actually debut in the shop. Dataminers have also claimed that Marvel Rivals‘ Squirrel Girl may be getting a punk-themed skin in the near future. With so many new cosmetics to enjoy and even more just around the corner, many fans are excited about the future of the popular hero shooter.
