A Fortnite leaker teases new maps for Reload and Ballistic, hinting that along with new maps, the game modes may be adding new items to their rosters. Although players enjoy the variety Fortnite has to offer, players are usually locked to one map type for long periods of time. Reload took the opportunity to change things up by giving players two small maps, alternating every 30 minutes. Adding another map to that rotation could offer gamers even more fun.
One of the most appealing aspects of Fortnite is the fact that there is always something new in the works for players to try out soon. Most recently, players have been enjoying Chapter 6 Season 2, but the seasonal change for Battle Royale has not introduced any new elements for players in other modes. It would be exciting for all modes to get their updates at once, but a perk of the asynchronous changes in these modes is that players may naturally decide to try out different experiences in Fortnite. It looks like the time for some of these changes may be fast approaching.
Leaks from Fortnite source @Loolo_WRLD suggest that Reload is set to get a new map soon. The leaker states that Reload will receive a map codenamed “DashBerry” and that this addition will happen in the near future. Fans have asked whether this means that these changes will be issued in the next Fortnite update. Loolo responded to the speculation, saying, “Maybe :).” Although the response is cryptic and leaves room for error, Loolo appears positive about the possibility, and gamers are excited to see Fortnite Reload improve its maps.
Fortnite Reload Leaks Tease “DashBerry” and “Hammer” Maps
It is unclear what DashBerry is referring to exactly, but it seems to be a riff on the idea of FlowBerry and SlapBerry-based items within Fortnite‘s world. It’s possible that the map might emphasize speed and offer an abundance of those kinds of items, or that the developers may be hinting towards a brand-new DashBerry for players to use. Regardless, fans are simply excited to be getting more content in Fortnite Reload. Adding maps to the game mode’s rotation may be a good way to keep the experience from getting stale for players.
Additionally, Loolo stated that Ballistic is also set to get a new map, currently codenamed “Hammer.” It appears that when these updates are made to the mode, Ballistic will also be receiving various quality-of-life improvements and a new Fire Grenade. Although there was plenty of hype for Fortnite Ballistic when it was initially released, many players have seemed to turn back to Battle Royale. An update to these modes may give many users a reason to go back.
