Black Ops 6 Season 3 will allegedly include 4-6 new 6v6 maps.

A popular Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 leaker has revealed the potential number of multiplayer maps featured in the upcoming Season 3. Treyarch has revealed very little about Season 3 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 following its recent delay, but gamers continue to seek out information regardless.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is following the seasonal model adopted by recent games in the series, allowing players to have new content to enjoy for free all year round. However, Treyarch recently delayed Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s Season 3, a rarity for what is usually a very well-oiled machine. As part of the statement confirming the delay, Treyarch described Season 3 as “a big moment for Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 6,” indicating it’ll be worth the wait for gamers.
In a post on X, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 leaker TheGhostOfHope refuted the idea that Season 3 will be all Warzone content, instead confirming that the upcoming update will have “4-6 6v6 maps,” as well as a “ton of zombies content.” In a follow-up post, TheGhostOfHope confirmed that at least one will be a classic map remaster in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, but fell short of actually naming which one. Black Ops 6 has already seen remasters of iconic maps with the likes of Nuketown and Grind, so hopefully, Treyarch has another exciting offering on the cards.
Black Ops 6 Season 3 to Have “4-6 6v6 Maps”

It’s worth remembering that, as with any “leak,” plans can change. After all, Season 3 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 isn’t expected to launch until April 3, and so Treyarch’s priorities could change between now and release, so it’s worth taking this leak with a pinch of salt. There are plenty of rumors about the upcoming Black Ops 6 update floating about at the moment. One even suggested that a controversial Modern Warfare Operator could come to Black Ops 6 in Season 3, but gamers will have to wait and see what the studio has planned to know for sure.
Looking beyond Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, speculation has already begun about the next game in the series. Recent rumors have suggested that Call of Duty 2025 may still be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and could be a direct sequel to 2012’s Black Ops 2. Given the age of the last-gen consoles, it will be disappointing for some if support continues, as it ultimately holds back what is possible on current-gen devices. However, Activision has undoubtedly seen numbers that indicate that this is still well worthwhile for Call of Duty.
