Fortnite is bringing back the “A Goat” skin, based on Pilgor from Goat Simulator.

Fortnite is bringing back one of the oddest skins in its nearly eight-year history with the return of the “A Goat” skin. The anthropomorphic goat skin is of Pilgor, the protagonist of the popular titles Goat Simulator and Goat Simulator 3. While the free-to-play title has crossed over with nearly countless other franchises, bringing a vast majority of characters of all different art styles and designs over the years, the Pilgor skin could arguably be among some of Fortnite‘s weirdest-looking skins ever.
Goat Simulator 3 first crossed over with Fortnite back in the fall of 2022, where the Pilgor skin was first announced in anticipation of the yet-to-be released Goat Simulator 3 at the time. The caprine cosmetic was initially offered for free to players who pre-ordered Goat Simulator 3, with the offer standing for nearly an entire year afterward. Now, however, the GOAT of goat skins has returned to Fortnite‘s in-game Item Shop, along with quite the applicable Emote, “GOATed.”
In celebration of the Goat Simulator franchise’s 10-year anniversary, Fortnite players will be able to purchase the “A Goat” skin for a limited time. The Pilgor skin itself is priced at 1,200 V-Bucks, while the GOATed Emote is set at 500. The skin features a humanistic muscular body with tight denim jeans, a belt, and a small white crop top with the initials “RGDL,” a reference to the ragdoll physics the Goat Simulator series is lovingly known for. The head is entirely goat, complete with a droopy tongue, googly eyes, horns and an ear tag.
With the juxtaposition of the awkward-looking goat’s head atop a very human-like body with matching gray skin, the look of the skin overall is found by many Fortnite players to be just plain weird-looking, although that’s likely its entire appeal. While Pilgor may be making a return to Fortnite, it isn’t the only video game character to be returning after several years. A new crossover collaboration with Tomb Raider is happening, which will see the return of a Lara Croft skin, though it’s expected to be a different version than the one last seen in 2021.
Fortnite’s Endless Crossover Collaborations Continue
While players may have to purchase both the Pilgor and the new Lara Croft skins, they’ll soon be able to get a new skin for free. Fortnite players can earn a free skin from Invincible, with developer Epic Games offering a skin of Dupli-Kate as part of the game’s Spring Raid event, which starts on March 14. With Fortnite seemingly able to collaborate with just about any IP out there, it should be interesting to see what weird or wild skins come to the game next.
