Minecraft Legends Is One Of 23 Games Prime Subscribers Can Claim For Free Throughout April

Amazon has revealed 23 games Prime subscribers can claim for no additional charge throughout April.

I’m back yet again to remind you that if you have Amazon Prime and you’re not claiming any of the games your subscription includes each month, you’re missing out. Amazon has revealed no fewer than 23 games Prime subscribers will be able to claim for no additional charge throughout April, and the first five will be available by the time you read this.

Of the first five games dropping on Prime Gaming this month, there’s one that stands out above the other four, and that’s Minecraft Legends. Not only because it’s a fantastic twist on the traditional Minecraft formula, but because it has been strategically distributed for free to coincide with A Minecraft Movie releasing in theaters.

Even better, unlike the bulk of games given away through Prime, Minecraft Legends can also be claimed on Xbox. Amazon has been slipping a single Xbox game into its giveaways each month, and this month, that honor goes to Minecraft Legends. Also available now as part of Prime’s first drop of the month is Mafia 3’s Definitive Edition along with three other titles, all of which can be found at the list below.

Minecraft Legends Leads The Way

As per usual, Amazon will add more games to its Prime haul every Thursday throughout April. Another six will join the initial five on April 10 with DreadOut 2 the pick of the bunch. Seven days after that, on April 17, the biggest drop of the month is rolled out as eight games will be free to claim for Prime subscribers, the biggest of them being Gloomhaven.

Rounding out Amazon’s month of Prime Gaming giveaways will be Kraken Academy and three other games, all of which will be free to claim starting on April 24. More importantly, it’s not too late to claim some of the games given away in March.

Aside from the sheer number of games available through Prime Gaming each month, what Amazon Prime has over the likes of Game Pass and PlayStation Plus is the no-strings-attached nature of its giveaways.
