The digital version of The Last of Us Complete has been shadow dropped for PS5.

Naughty Dog and PlayStation have shadow dropped The Last of Us Complete for PS5. The original Last of Us was a massive critical and commercial success, spawning a franchise that continues strong to this day. The Last of Us HBO adaptation has proven to be wildly popular as well, with the second season set to premiere on Sunday, April 13.
Naughty Dog followed up the original Last of Us with the acclaimed Left Behind expansion, followed by The Last of Us Part 2 in 2020. Then there was The Last of Us Part 1, a PS5 remake of the original game, and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, which brought the sequel to Sony’s latest console with various enhancements and the No Return roguelike mode. With The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered just recently dropping on PC, one would think The Last of Us releases would slow down for a bit, but instead The Last of Us Complete has been shadow dropped.
Now available on the PlayStation Store, The Last of Us Complete digital version is a $99.99 package that bundles The Last of Us Part 1 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered in a single package. Those that want a physical version can go to PlayStation’s website and pre-order The Last of Us Complete: Collector’s Edition for $109.99. Launching July 10, the physical version of The Last of Us Complete comes with a steelbook case, The Last of Us: American Dream comics, and four lithographic art prints.
The Last of Us Complete Collector’s Edition Contents
- Last of Us Part 1 and Part 2 Remastered for PS5
- Steelbook Case
- The Last of Us: American Dream Comics
- 4 Lithographic Art Prints
- Release Date: July 10
- Price: $109.99
The lithographics are quite stunning. One shows Last of Us Part 1 protagonists Joel and Ellie standing together, while another features the iconic duo on horseback. Another still recreates The Last of Us box art poses in the shape of a clicker, while the final one shows Abby and Ellie from The Last of Us Part 2. The Collector’s Edition content may very well be enough for diehard fans of The Last of Us franchise to buy the two games again, though that remains to be seen.
The Last of Us Complete‘s name may be ominous for fans of the franchise. Neil Druckmann recently suggested The Last of Us Part 3 might not happen, and with “Complete” implying that this is the franchise’s full story, fans may only have the HBO series when it comes to new releases. Currently, Naughty Dog is working on a sci-fi action-adventure game called Intergalatic: The Heretic Prophet for PS5, though the studio is rumored to have another project in the works as well.
