Treyarch Studios and Raven Software release new updates for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone on April 11.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone developers Treyarch Studios and Raven Software have once again released a new update for their respective titles, bringing new bug fixes and adjustments to the shooters for April 11. Since the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3 earlier this month, both studios have continued to monitor player feedback and deploy a steady stream of updates to address the most important issues.
Alongside a new gameplay update, Treyarch Studios has also updated Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s Featured Playlists with some brand-new 24/7 playlists, including Firing Range, Stakeout, and Nuketown; all of which now have their own respective 24/7 playlists available in-game. The new update also adds 3rd-Person Moshpit and Small Map Moshpit, and moves Sharpshooter to the dedicated Party Games section. These new playlists are here to stay for the weekend and will likely continue into next week until a new playlist update is released, but Treyarch hasn’t specified when that will be.
Shortly after the latest playlist update was deployed, Treyarch Studios and Raven Software released another gameplay update for their respective titles. While the majority of the April 11 update is focused on the newest Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies map, Warzone fans will be disappointed to discover that Raven Software has disabled the 12 Gauge Dragon’s Breath Ammunition for the MX Guardian Shotgun. According to the studio, the ammo type was only meant to be available on specific trigger types for the MX Guardian Shotgun. As this is clearly not the case, Raven has been forced to disable the attachment until the issues can be addressed.
Numerous other bug fixes have also been made in the latest Call of Duty: Warzone update, including a fix for an issue that caused players to remain stuck when attempting to loot a Loadout Crate, as well as a bug that would sometimes cause Custom Loadouts to reset after a match. Raven Software appears to have addressed a handful of Loadout-specific bugs in the newest update, as fans have experienced numerous problems with the feature ever since the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3. Hopefully, players now experience fewer issues with Custom Loadouts following the deployment of the newest update.
It was only earlier this week that Raven Software adjusted the ground loot in Call of Duty: Warzone due to player feedback. On April 8, the studio released yet another update that removed the DM-10 Marksman Rifle, Tsarkov Marksman Rifle, and SVD Sniper Rifle from ground loot and supply boxes after many players believed the weapons were appearing far too often. The update also adjusted the controversial T-800 Terminator Operator Skin due to severe visibility issues, but most players feel a further nerf is still required.

- Addressed an issue where the Void Sheath Augment for Aether Shroud was not counting toward the maximum number of melee swipes a player could do while mounted on the boss.
While the clever use of Full Powers during boss fights can be creative and fun, we’re staying focused on closing exploits and fixing bugs that can cheapen the experience of completing the Main Quest in the early days of a new map. This includes using Void Sheath to deal more melee damage than intended against bosses, so we’ve made a fix today while also increasing the max number of melee swipes players can do while mounted as a counterbalance.
We’ve also taken a look at the Ray Gun Mark II-R, which performs well as a general head-shotter and kiting weapon, but had a significant disadvantage in the boss fight when compared to the other Ray Gun Mark II variants. Its non-critical damage against the boss has been given a significant boost as a result!
