Star Wars Zero Company is a turn-based strategy game by Respawn and Bit Reactor, featuring a diverse array of main characters.

Respawn and Bit Reactor have officially revealed Star Wars Zero Company, the turn-based Star Wars strategy title that was first announced back in 2022. This was one of three EA-published Star Wars video games unveiled at that time, with the first being 2023’s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The third project was a Mandalorian-centric first-person shooter that has since been canceled.
There are plenty of avenues for a Star Wars-themed real-time strategy game to explore, and fans have been speculating on what Respawn and Bit Reactor’s project could be about. For those who aren’t familiar with Bit Reactor, it was formed in 2022 by former Firaxis Games members who worked on hit strategy games like Civilization and XCOM. This pedigree being combined with Respawn’s success with the two Star Wars Jedi games has much potential, and now gamers have an official title for the pair’s new Star Wars title.
As shown on the official EA website, Respawn and Bit Reactor’s turn-based Star Wars game is called Star Wars Zero Company. The name had been rumored ahead of this announcement, but now it is official. Along with the name itself, EA has released promotional artwork featuring Star Wars Zero Company’s main characters, which seem to include a lightsaber-wielding Tognath Jedi, a former Clone Trooper, a Mandalorian, a red-and-silver R5 astromech droid, a person wearing some sort of hazmat suit, and another mysterious figure holding a hologram of a BD-1 Battle Droid.
Star Wars Zero Company Confirmed

More information about Star Wars Zero Company will be revealed at the Star Wars Celebration event in Japan on April 19, as reported by Gemastu. Developer Bit Reactor will hold a full panel from 16:30 to 17:30 Japanese Standard Time (3:30 AM to 4:30 AM Eastern Time, 12:30 AM to 1:30 AM Pacific). Gaming journalist Lucy James will host the presentation alongside members of Bit Reactor, Respawn Entertainment, and Lucasfilm Games.
Previous Star Wars Zero Company leaks suggested that Mandalorians would be involved and that part of the game would be set in a mining colony in the Ring of Kafrene from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It was also said that gameplay would be similar to the XCOM games, with an isometric view and a hub world that has options for players to upgrade and customize their forces. Fans won’t have to wait too much longer to see if these rumors are true, as Star Wars Celebration is being held in Japan this weekend.
