Game Update Games Gaming News Rumors and Leaks

Epic Games may add Godzilla to Fortnite’s Creative mode, allowing new interactions with the iconic monster.

A prominent Fortnite leaker has revealed that Godzilla could be coming to the game’s Creative mode in the near future, which would give players new ways to interact with the iconic monster. Fortnite is currently in the middle of its Star Wars-themed mini-season, which is called Galactic Battle.

Epic Games is currently trying to bring Fortnite back to Apple’s iOS platform, but the popular battle royale appears to have hit another roadblock. Things have been tense between the two companies since they became entangled in a longstanding legal battle. After the courts ruled in favor of Epic Games, the developers submitted Fortnite to Apple for approval, which would have seen it come back to the iOS platform in the United States. Unfortunately, Apple blocked Fortnite‘s submission, which has resulted in it being unavailable on the IOS platform worldwide.

In a recent post on Twitter, the popular leaker HYPEX revealed that Epic Games could be adding Godzilla to Creative, which would give players more ways to interact with iconic monster than ever before. Godzilla originally came to Fortnite in Chapter 6 Season 1, which gave gamers the opportunity to actually become the kaiju on the map. The player who became Godzilla was able to stomp through buildings, crush players, and even use his signature breath weapon to launch a full-scale assault on anything and anyone nearby. The monster was also featured in the battle pass for the season, which allowed players to claim a wide range of cosmetics related to Godzilla for a limited amount of time.

Godzilla Could Be Coming to Creative in Fortnite

Godzilla’s arrival was all part of a larger collaboration with the franchise, which also brought characters like Mechagodzilla and King Kong to Fortnite‘s Item Shop. Many fans seem to be excited about the idea of being able to use Godzilla once again, as the collaboration was quite popular with a large portion of the community.

Epic Games is no stranger to making use of iconic characters, as it recently released an AI version of Darth Vader in Fortnite. When in the middle of a match, players have the ability to add Darth Vader to their squad. Once Darth Vader joins someone’s squad, they have the ability to hold a conversation with the Sith Lord, which has led to players posting some interesting clips online. Shortly after the new feature was released, players were able to get Darth Vader to use explicit language, which Epic Games has released a hotfix to prevent. Gamers are still figuring out new and unexpected ways to interact with Darth Vader. With so much content to enjoy and even more on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Fortnite.
