PlayStation is offering discounts on the PS5, its Pro model, and its accessories during Days of Play 2025.

Anyone who’s been waiting to get a PlayStation 5 may have a great opportunity ahead, as Sony is discounting the console and several accessories during Days of Play 2025. While Sony’s latest system has been out for several years now, its high price tag may understandably cause some people to hesitate, especially with the high-end Pro variant. There have also been rumblings of higher prices heading this way, so the upcoming PlayStation 5 sale may be one of the best chances gamers get to snag one at a decent cost.

On May 27, PlayStation announced Days of Play 2025, revealing 10 surprise games coming to the platform alongside a slew of discounts. While many of the promotions centered around new PS Plus titles and a massive sale on PS5 games, Sony didn’t forget about its hardware. The two-week-long deal will see some major deals on the PS5, PS5 Pro, and select peripherals.

From May 28 to June 11, Sony will discount the PS5 and PS5 Pro in several regions, both on PlayStation Direct and at some participating retailers. U.S. shoppers can grab a PS5 Pro for $50 under MSRP, and the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 bundle will be $399.99 USD and $509.99 CAD in the U.S. and Canada, respectively. During the same period, the vanilla PS5 will run for €399.99 in Europe, £339.99 in the U.K., and ¥65,980 in Japan. Sony has recently raised the baseline PS5 price in some of these regions and hinted that it may pass the cost of PS5 tariffs to consumers, so the deals are hard to ignore.

Sony Offers Steep Discounts on PS5 Consoles and Accessories During Days of Play 2025

One of the biggest accessory deals comes from the PlayStation VR2, which will be $50 off. The Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle will also be $50 off. The PS5’s controllers are getting some discounts, too, with the DualSense Edge getting a $30 cut and the regular DualSense going for $20 less. Sony quietly raised the price of the PS5 DualSense controller last year, so it’s also an ideal time to grab one of those.

Apart from those sales, Sony will take $30 off the Pulse Explore wireless earbuds and $20 off the Access controller. Many of these discounts will also be available to all shoppers, though the console deals vary by region. That may seem like a given, but the Days of Play PS Plus discounts are not available to everyone, so it’s refreshing to see some more widely accessible sales. Sony has also announced deals on accessories like external storage drives and PS5 console covers, so players should keep their eyes peeled for further details.
