PlayStation’s Days of Play event will run from May 28 to June 11, offering discounts on games and hardware.

PlayStation‘s annual Days of Play event will run from May 28 to June 11, offering significant discounts on games and hardware. The two-week-long promotion is one of, if not the biggest, sales Sony runs each year, so anyone with a PS5 or hoping to get one should keep an eye on these dates. While PlayStation fans have had to deal with some price uncertainty over the past few months, Days of Play is bringing a breath of fresh air with steep price cuts, game trials, and more.
Summer 2025 is already shaping up to be a big moment for PlayStation. On June 17, FBC: Firebeak will debut on PS Plus Extra, and new games will come in as at least six leave the platform. There are also rumors of a State of Play presentation, though there’s no official announcement on that front yet. On top of all of that activity, PlayStation users have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming Days of Play.
Days of Play 2025 starts at 12:01 AM local time on May 28 and will run through June 11 at 11:59 PM. During that span, players can enjoy discounts on hundreds of games, including The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, Astro Bot, and MLB The Show 2025. Instead of the usual three, PS Plus subscribers will get four monthly games: NBA 2K25, the 2024 remake of Alone in the Dark, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, and Destiny 2: The Final Shape?????. The Premium and Extra tiers will also get some bonus titles on top of the regular Game Catalog drops, including Grand Theft Auto 3. Considering how GTA 6 has been delayed until May 2026, it could be a good time to dive back into some classic GTA titles during the wait.

The deals on PS5 hardware are particularly noteworthy. Sony recently raised the price of PS5 consoles in some regions, but it’s discounting them throughout Days of Play, making it a great time to snag one for anyone who’s been waiting for the opportunity. Both editions of the system will cost €399.99 in Europe and £339.99 in the U.K., which is a pretty steep price cut. In the U.S., the PS5 Pro will be $50 off, and the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 bundle will be available for $399.99.
Accessories will also get some major deals. PlayStation already permanently reduced the price of the PSVR2 in March, but both the headset and the Horizon: Call of the Mountain bundle will get another $50 discount during Days of Play. Sony will release more information on additional deals and promotions in the coming days, so stay tuned for further details.
