We’re finally nearing the end of Fortnite’s dedicated Star Wars season, which means it’s time to get excited about what’s next.

A new tease from Lego has seemingly confirmed once and for all that the next Season of Fortnite is going to be themed around superheroes, just like what was leaked earlier in the month.
As cool as a new Fortnite season themed around Star Wars sounded when it was first announced, it’s fair to say that most players are a bit done with the blasters-only gameplay and specific theme. Don’t worry too much, though, as we’re finally approaching the end of Galactic Battle, which will be over in less than a week.
With Star Wars and its weird Darth Vader AI chatbot about to be on the way out, that just leaves one big question – what’s the next Season going to be about. Well, as usual, we actually already have a good idea on the theme for Chapter 5, Season 4 thanks to some leaks, which have been further cemented by a tease from Lego.
Lego Has Seemingly Confirmed The Theme Of Fortnite’s Next Season
Looks Like We’re Going Back To Superheroes, Folks
A few weeks ago, reliable Fortnite insider SpushFNBR shared some leaks from FNBRintel that suggested the next Season of Fortnite was going to be themed around a “superhero academy” and even have ties to James Gunn’s Superman, which is releasing close to the same month as the new season starts.
That was easy enough to believe considering how often Fortnite has superhero seasons, but it now seems as close to confirmed as can be until Epic says something. As pointed out by reliable Fortnite insider HYPEX, the latest tease comes from Lego itself, which shared a small tidbit while showing off some upcoming sets related to Fortnite.
The tease asks fans to “stay tuned for super-scale news” that will be happening later in June. This might seem minor, but considering the superhero theme has already been leaked, the phrase “super-scale” (which is even emphasised) definitely seems like a nod towards that being the case. With the new season right around the corner, it’s no shock that Lego might start teasing it already.
The initial leak also suggested that the superhero academy is being funded by Midas, because of course it is.
We’ll know for sure when Fortnite’s next season starts being announced by Epic but, for now, you’re probably pretty safe betting that it’s going to be themed around superheroes. Let’s just hope that DC gets a bit more fanfare this time so we’re not overloaded with Marvel characters for the millionth time in a row.
