Right now, the Epic Games Store free game is The Operator, up for grabs until Thursday, June 26 at 10:00am CT. The Operator sees players put in the role of an FDI agent who utilizes a variety of software to help solve various cases. The Operator was first released in 2024 and earned mostly positive reviews from critics, with a “Very Positive” overall rating on Steam. It’s earned particular praise for its narrative, so Epic Games Store users should be sure to claim The Operator for free while it’s still available.
After The Operator is cycled out of the free games lineup on June 26, it will be replaced by Sable, which will be free from that point until July 3. Sable is a stylized adventure game where players explore a world filled with the ruins of past civilizations. Players have to complete puzzles, conquer platforming challenges, and upgrade their hover bike as they make their way through the game world. Sable earned comparable reviews to The Operator and should make a fine addition to the Epic Games Store free games lineup when it’s free from June 26 to July 3.
