Players are facing issues with guns sticking in The First Descendant, hindering shooting gameplay.

Another day, another community issue with The First Descendant. So far, players have faced a multitude of issues, from expensive microtransactions and inflated seasonal challenges to the overuse of Bunny and the difficulty of unlocking the new Descendant Hailey.
Now, a new issue has arisen: Players are unable to use their guns properly, which isn’t great for a shooter.
The First Descendant Is Having Major Gun Problems
As posted on Reddit, players have found that their guns are sticking, meaning when pressing the button to shoot, the gun isn’t actually firing. The issue seems widespread, with the Reddit thread receiving 700 upvotes and almost 250 comments in a matter of hours.
The issue is reportedly happening on both console and PC, with players initially thinking that their mice or controllers were broken.
Originally, players thought the bug was related to Bunny’s Speed of Light skill, with one player saying, “When ‘Speed of Light’ is either enabled and/or disabled by mp running out, for some reason, the gun stops registering the input for weapon firing, and you need to release and re-press your fire key.” However, other players reported the same issues with different Descendants and different skills.
Multiple reports in the Reddit thread have also indicated that players are having difficulty with the double jump.
The development team is now doing all it can to make things up to fans after admitting that they were surprised at how poorly the game was reviewed and after losing well over 70% of its players since launch. Given that Nexon has been relatively proactive with fixing bugs in The First Descendant,a patch or hotfix shouldn’t be too far away. However, it’s just another frustrating issue in a long line of frustrating issues that players have had to face.
