Fallout 76 Launches Double XP Event
Fallout 76’s double XP event is live and runs until December 30, providing an opportunity for faster character leveling.

Bethesda Game Studios has launched a double XP Fallout 76 event, available for players until December 30. Fallout 76’s multiplayer post-apocalyptic world is treating players to this limited-time event, allowing them to level up their character faster.
Fallout 76 came out in 2018 and has significantly evolved since then. The game serves as a prequel to the previous Fallout games in the series. Even though it had a rough start at first due to several technical issues and unhappy players leaving mixed reviews on platforms like Steam, the regular flow of updates and improvements has steadily helped the game’s reputation. Now, Bethesda is celebrating the holidays by kicking off a new limited-time event for players to enjoy.
The double XP event is already live, and players can immerse themselves in the game’s devastated world to gain some extra experience while leveling up their Fallout 76 characters faster. Bethesda announced that the event will run until December 30, giving players only a few days to make the most of the XP boost.

This double XP event isn’t the only good news for Fallout players, as Nvidia has recently announced it is giving away free in-game items for Fallout 76 (along with items for World of Warcraft, Diablo 4, and The Elder Scrolls Online). From January 4 to January 6, users who play any GeForce LAN mission for 50 minutes can earn the Settler Work Chief and Raider Nomad outfits for Fallout 76. The only requirement is to have GeForce Experience, GeForce NOW, or Nvidia apps to accept missions and claim rewards.
Fallout 76 continues to evolve. In November, Bethesda shared the Fallout 76 content roadmap for the next 4 months and released Season 19 on December 3. The roadmap revealed details about the content players can expect until April 2025. Among the highlights is the Fallout 76 Gleaming Depths update, which added pets to the game, starting with the Bombay Cat and the White German Shepherd. The roadmap also highlighted several events in the upcoming months along with exclusive rewards.
Moreover, the Fallout 76 Gleaming Depths update introduced a wealth of new things for players to explore, including the biggest overhaul the game has seen yet. One of its most significant additions is a new endgame activity where four players must cooperate to tackle a challenging boss with unique mechanics. While the developer keeps enhancing the game and bringing new content, players can look forward to the double XP event in Fallout 76.
