Fortnite Announces Death Star Live Event Date and Time
Fortnite’s Star Wars season ends June 7 after the Death Star Sabotage live event.

Epic Games has revealed that Fortnite‘s Star Wars season will come to an end on June 7 following the highly anticipated Death Star Sabotage live event. The Star Wars takeover on the Fortnite Battle Royale island started on May 2. Since this is a mini-season, it will only have a duration of about five weeks, which is why the Battle Pass doesn’t require players to earn as many levels as they normally would have to in order to unlock all of its rewards.
Throughout the past few weeks, gamers got to discover and complete Star Wars-themed Story Quests, use their favorite galactic weapons, and learn the powers of the Force by collecting pickaxes from Jedi masters and Sith lords.
As June 7 approaches, players have started counting down the days until the end of Galactic Battle and the start of Chapter 6 Season 3. However, a fully-fledged Star Wars season can’t be taken lightly, and gamers want it to end with a bang, which is why they’ve been anticipating the announcement of the Death Star Sabotage event, and now that the time has finally come. Epic Games has revealed that the Death Star Sabotage Live Event in Fortnite will take place on June 7.
When Is the Sabotage the Death Star Sabotage Live Event in Fortnite?

- Saturday, June 7 at 2 PM ET
According to Epic Games, players will be able to join in and watch the live event by entering the Death Star Sabotage map, which will be featured on the in-game Discover page starting June 7 at 12 PM ET. Thousands of people are expected to tune in and watch the show, especially now that Fortnite is widely available on mobile devices and cloud streaming. If this isn’t an option for fans, then they can rush onto their favorite content creator’s stream and watch them and their community react to it live.
Passes across several game modes will become unavailable at 2 PM ET, so downtime for the next Fortnite season is expected to start once the event ends. There is still some time until June 7, but gamers who haven’t claimed the last few rewards in the passes that they’ve bought should make the most of what they have left and complete them before the Death Star Sabotage event.
