Players get access to free DLC for a game that was previously added to the Extra tier of PlayStation Plus as a day one release.

Teardown was recently added to the Extra tier of PlayStation Plus on day one, and fans can now play through additional DLC content for free. PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers get access to a massive catalog of PS5 and PS4 games at no extra cost, and Sony adds new titles to this list every month.
Some games launch on PS Plus Extra on day one, allowing fans to play them at release without paying anything extra. Games like Tchia, Sea of Stars, and Humanity came out on PS Plus Extra as day one releases in 2023, while Stray joined the service at its launch in 2022. PS Plus Extra users also got to play Teardown as a day one release in November 2023, and fans can now try out DLC content for free.
As seen on the PlayStation Store, gamers can download the Lockelle Motor Park DLC for free, giving them access to some additional content for Teardown. This add-on includes the Lockelle Motor Park map, along with two more vehicles for Teardown users to try out. The Lockelle Motor Park DLC is available for free on all platforms, so fans on PC and Xbox can also play through the content at no cost. It should be noted that the DLC is now available for free in NA and Europe, but players in Asia will have to wait until December 26.
Mod Pack 1 for Teardown is available for free as well, allowing fans to further customize their gameplay experience. Overall, this move allows PS Plus Extra subscribers, and anyone who purchases Teardown, to get some additional content for free.
In addition to Teardown, PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers got access to a number of different games in November 2023. Extra members could start playing Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Dead Island: Riptide – Definitive Edition, Superliminal, and more, while PS Plus Premium subscribers could also try out Grandia, PaRappa the Rapper 2, and Up among others.
Furthermore, the December lineup for PS Plus Extra and Premium is now live, allowing fans to play through even more games at no extra cost. Extra subscribers can now try out Grand Theft Auto 5, Metal: Hellsinger, Mega Man 11, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, Salt and Sacrifice, and more as a part of their subscription tier, with Premium members also getting access to Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and Mega Man Legacy Collection among others.
