Hatsune Miku has been Fortnite Festival’s headliner for a while now, but some new blood is finally on the way.

Following months of rumours and leaks, Fortnite Festival has finally officially teased its next headliner, and it’s Sabrina Carpenter, just like we all expected.
Although most Fortnite players are fully concentrated on the main Battle Royale mode (and the No Build one at that), Epic has still been keeping up with updates for most of the other game modes. Rocket Racing might be dead, but Lego Fortnite still gets regular updates and battle passes and Fortnite Festival sees a big headliner every few months.
The current headliner for the game mode is Hatsune Miku, who was introduced towards the very start of Chapter 5. Now, just as Season 2 of the same Chapter is nearly ending, a new headliner for Fortnite Festival is about to be added to the game, and it’s exactly who we all thought it was going to be.
Sabrina Carpenter Is Coming To Fortnite Festival Next Week
Epic Games Clearly Has “Taste”
Over on the official Fortnite Festival Twitter account, a brief tweet was shared that showed a blue sky background before the words “See you soon!” are written over it and a lipstick mark pops up. The blue sky is already an obvious hint to Sabrina Carpenter since her last album, Short n’ Sweet, had the same sunny background, but the lipstick kiss is what cements it as being her.
The tweet also confirms that Sabrina Carpenter is going to join Fortnite Festival on April 8, meaning we don’t have to wait too long until we’re all singing Expresso for the millionth time this year. I may be a “Please Please Please” kind of guy, but you can’t deny that’s the song we’ll all be replaying.
Note
It’s a bad day for Chappell Roan fans, as the equally popular singer has previously expressed interest in showing up in Fortnite. I bet that’s our next headliner sorted, though.
As is the case for most Fortnite Festival headliners, this means that we’ll be getting more Sabrina Carpenter songs in the game, as well as a few unique skins tied to her. Sabrina is known for having a ton of outfits, so it’s anyone’s guess what’s going to show up and what we can all work to unlock.
Of course, Sabrina being in Fortnite shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who has been keeping an ear to the ground. It’s been rumoured for a long time that she was going to be added to the game and dataminers have been backing that up for weeks, so it’s really been assumed for quite a while now.
