Xbox Games Showcase on June 8 may include Gears of War, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Minecraft Dungeons 2, Ninja Gaiden 4, and Persona 4 remake.

According to the latest rumors, the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase on June 8 will potentially feature the Gears of War Collection, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Minecraft Dungeons 2, Ninja Gaiden 4, and the Persona 4 remake. Microsoft has confirmed that the annual Xbox Games Showcase will take place on Sunday, June 8 at 10am PT. Besides confirming the showcase’s date and time, fans know precious little about what to expect.
The only game that is 100% confirmed for the Xbox Games Showcase this year is Obsidian Entertainment‘s The Outer Worlds 2. The Outer Worlds 2 seems to be the flagship game for this year’s showcase, as Microsoft will be following the event with a deeper dive into the upcoming sci-fi RPG’s gameplay. The Outer Worlds 2 is scheduled for a 2025 release, though not a lot has been revealed about the game so far. Needless to say, the Xbox Games Showcase is a must-see for Outer Worlds fans.
Besides The Outer Worlds 2, it’s anyone’s guess as to what will be shown at the Xbox Games Showcase. However, leaker eXtas1s has revealed games that he’s heard will potentially be at the event, listing off the Gears of War Collection, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Minecraft Dungeons 2, Ninja Gaiden 4, and the Persona 4 remake. Out of these, the one that seems like a slam dunk is Ninja Gaiden 4, though fans should keep their expectations in check for the other titles.
Games Rumored for Xbox Games Showcase 2025
- Gears of War Collection
- Hollow Knight: Silksong
- Minecraft Dungeons 2
- Ninja Gaiden 4
- Persona 4 Remake
Hollow Knight: Silksong is supposedly releasing in 2025 and is a day one Xbox Game Pass game, so it would make sense for it to be at the showcase, though franchise fans have long learned that it’s better not to get their hopes up. Minecraft Dungeons 2, meanwhile, would make a great deal of sense. The first game was popular enough and A Minecraft Movie is dominating the box office at the time of this writing.
The two that may be a little harder to believe are the Gears of War Collection and the Persona 4 remake. Gears of War Collection has been rumored for years only to never be announced, and while a Persona 4 remake seems like an inevitability, we just had the Persona 3 remake last year. Both projects seem plausible, but it’s hard to say whether they will be at the Xbox Game Showcase this year or not. Ultimately, all fans can do is tune in to the event on June 8 at 10am PT to see for themselves.
