Battlefield 6 Alpha Gameplay Leaks Online

Game Update Games Gaming News Rumors and Leaks

New Battlefield 6 alpha gameplay footage was leaked online, highlighting the game’s all-out destruction and classic Conquest game mode.

Battlefield 6 alpha gameplay footage has been leaked online following the latest playtest sessions for Battlefield Labs members. Since the program’s launch in February, EA has used Battlefield Labs to get feedback on potential adjustments and gameplay changes while developing Battlefield 6, and the program recently received an influx of new players.

Battlefield 6 is currently in development by the largest team of developers that the franchise has ever had, comprised of DICE, Criterion, EA Motive, and Ripple Effect. With many new features and content additions in development, the Battlefield Labs program allows players to test out the concepts during the game’s early development stage. Regularly, new Battlefield Labs invites are sent out to Battlefield fans, allowing them to join the program under a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) in order to play the game for themselves. However, NDAs haven’t stopped users from leaking footage of Battlefield 6 as a work-in-progress, as new leaks surfaced just a week and a half after Battlefield fans were sent Battlefield Labs invites on April 17.

New gameplay footage of the Battlefield 6 alpha playtest was leaked on Twitter posts by user @alisaad40002, as reported by Insider Gaming. The leaks show off the “all-out destruction” of Battlefield 6, along with gameplay mechanics, animations, and the updated user interface. Battlefield 6 appears to call back to the series’ roots with squad-based Conquest modes with high player counts and classes like Assault and Support. There’s also footage of dogfights in fighter jets above the “Capstone” map, while other players are engaged in gunfights on the ground. However, it’s worth noting that the footage is not a final representation of Battlefield 6, since there could be many changes before the game officially launches in EA’s 2026 fiscal year, which runs from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.

These posts have since been deleted and the poster seems to have been banned.

Thus far, the footage appears to reinforce DICE’s previous claims on upcoming gameplay changes for the next Battlefield game. These changes and features include revamped recoil patterns and movement animations, improved gunplay with camera shakes and firing adjustments, and indicators for movement options. Moreover, leaks in March indicated that the controversial 3D spotting feature could be making a return in Battlefield 6, and the game will supposedly have 60Hz-optimized servers.

Joining Battlefield Labs gives players an exclusive opportunity to see how Battlefield 6 could change before launch, and it’s likely that more invites will be sent out to get more fans into the fray. Sign-ups are still available on the Battlefield Labs website, along with a link to the official Battlefield Discord server. The server allows players to link up for matches and receive the latest information regarding the Battlefield franchise.
