According to leakers, the collaboration could feature skins of characters like Rebellion Era Leia and the Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn. In a recent live stream from Star Wars Celebration Japan, Epic Games revealed a new teaser trailer showing off snippets of what players can expect to see when Fortnite‘s Galactic Battle launches on May 2. The trailer revealed new skins of iconic characters like Mace Windu, Emperor Palpatine, and Darth Jar Jar. Ahmed Best, the actor known for portraying Jar Jar Binks in the films, then came on stage to share more details about the upcoming season. He confirmed that X-Wings and Tie Fighters will be heading to the island, and gamers will have the ability to squad up and take control of these vehicles during a match. He also announced that players would be able to make use of Force Lightning within the game as well.
