Overwatch 2 has revealed new skins from the upcoming Gundam Wing collab, set to take place from April 29 until May 12.

Overwatch 2 has officially revealed the new skins from its upcoming collaboration with Gundam Wing, including Wing Gundam Zero Mercy, Epyon Ramattra, Tallgeese Soldier: 76, and Deathscythe Reaper. These cosmetics, as well as the accompanying in-game event, will be available in Overwatch 2 from April 29 through May 12.
Recently, Overwatch 2 revealed a collaboration with Gundam Wing to celebrate the anime’s 30th anniversary. Though a Mercy skin was confirmed in a teaser during Overwatch 2 Season 16’s trailer, fans were left to speculate on the other characters who might be involved in the crossover.
Now, just ahead of the event’s start, players have officially learned which heroes are featured in Overwatch 2‘s latest collab. Wing Gundam Zero Mercy is joined by Epyon Ramattra, Tallgeese Soldier: 76, and Deathscythe Reaper as the four skins coming in this crossover. These skins will be available from April 29 through May 12 in shop bundles, along with Highlight Intros and other cosmetics, for 2800 Overwatch Coins ($28) each, or 5900 ($59) for the Mega Bundle, which includes all four individual packs.

- Tallgeese Soldier: 76
- Deathscythe Reaper
Beyond the new skins, players will also be able to complete in-game challenges to earn some other exclusive Gundam Wing cosmetics, including the Shinigami Player Title, the Zero System Spray, and the Gundamari Weapon Charm. Fans will have to wait until the event begins to see exactly how to complete these challenges, but progress will likely be earned simply by playing games, providing an easy way to earn these collectibles, as well as some extra Battle Pass XP.
Interestingly enough, there were two sets of leaks that predicted these very skins would be a part of this collaboration: one in a Twitter post by credible leaker wiki_ow, and another via images of Overwatch 2 Name Cards depicting the Gundam Wing skins. Now that these skins – including the datamined Name Cards – have been officially revealed, both of these leaks have been proven true.
The trailer for this Overwatch 2 x Gundam Wing collaboration takes place on the fan-favorite Horizon Lunar Colony map. Unfortunately, the beloved Assault map is currently only accessible in Custom Games or Arcade at the moment, but the new Stadium game mode has already revived the Paris map with Place Lacroix, not to mention the Hanaoka and the Throne of Anubis maps created for Clash. Overwatch 2 plans to add more maps to Stadium in future seasons, so if players are lucky, perhaps the Horizon Lunar Colony will finally return in some form down the road.
